Beechcraft Kingair 200

Original Designer: Steve Mosher

This aircraft re-paint is a quick project that I did using Chuck Dome's TEXBMP2.ZIP and Windows Paint....It was mostly an experiment to see if I could do it. Having never designed nor painted an aircraft, I think the quick additions turned out rather well.

This re-paint is a rendition of an everyday "generic" air ambulance. While it is not meant to retrospect any one company, the ideas and inspirations were taken from a few company's aircraft that I have been around. Fixed wing air ambulances typically meet a ground ambulance at an airport and transport a patient to another airport, usually to a city which has a hospital that provides services that the original hospital could not provide. Upon reaching the destination airport, the aircraft is met by another ground ambulance that will transport the patient and often the flight medical staff to the recieving hospital. It is also not uncommon for a fixed wing unit to do scene flights as well, notably in extreme rural areas whereas even helicopter ETA's are long. Albeit, landing zone's are quite a bit larger, and usually the ground ambulance transports the patient to the nearest landing strip to meet the aircraft.

Installation:
-This is a FS98 aircraft, so you should have the converter and patch
-Unzip the archive into your Fltsim98/aircraft directory....It will sort itself out
-I recommend getting a KingAir panel and sounds to make your experience more enjoyable and realistic. There are several good choices out there, and you are your own best judge on what works for you.

Some useful numbers. (as quoted by the original author)

As stated at the top of this document, the original author is Steve Mosher, and he deserves all the credit for making this fine aircraft for all of us to enjoy. I have enjoyed 3 yrs of his original KingAir 200, as I'm sure have also some of you. My work is minimal to the efforts that went into the original design and productivity of this aircraft.

It is my effort to bring forth to fellow simmers yet another side of aviation adventures. My rendition best suits with a valid imagination. Enjoy!
