The An-38 is a stretched version of the An-28 that first flew
in 1995. Antonov is positioning this plane as a simple and rugged
seccessor for it's own legendary An-2. Like the An-28 this plane
is manufactured by WSK-PZL Mielec in Poland.

Like many of it's former Soviet counterparts, the An-38 has been
equiped with Western engines an avionics to enhance it's marketability
outside of the former Soviet block countries.

  Aircraft I've done:

All of these planes include the source .afx and .pcx files and
are available FOR FREE at ftp.iup.edu. Most of them are also available
at http://www.flightsim.com. You can also find many of my .afx files,
along with other top designers work at http://www.freeflight.com.

I've also repainted some of my planes for Tradewind Caribbean Airlines.
(The best VA out there, IMHO). These planes are available from TCA's home
page. All of these planes have had improvments made to the visual model
over my original version. Sorry, no .afx's for these.

  Installation:

If you use a windows zip utility such as Winzip, extract this
entire archive to your FS98/Aircraft directory. All proper directories
will be created and all files will be installed into the correct
directories.

To manually install these files, create an an38 sub-directory of
FS98/Aircraft. In the an38 directory, create a model, panel, sound and
texture directory. Install aircraft.cfg and an38.air into the an38
directory. Install sound.cfg into an38/sound, model.cfg and an38.mdl
into an38/model, panel.cfg into an38/panel and all texture files
(An38.0-8af) to an38/texture.

an38src.zip contains the source .AFX and .PCX files that was used
to construct this model and an FS5/FSFS .air file.
