This is an update of Mike Stone's Consolidated PBY5A. I have corrected the engines and wheels to where they are on the model. The flight dynamics have been updated. The aircraft still floats a bit, but that is due to a large wing without flaps. The aicraft now flys close to the correct max level speed and has the range it is supposed to. I also added a digital trim gauge, toggle icons, and autopilot to the panel, and fixed the view so you can see a bit better over the nose.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. After backing up your air and aircraft.cfg files replace them with the ones in this update. Do the same with the panel.cfg file.

The piston engine and propeller sections came from the default DC-3. The PBY is supposed to have the same engines. There is an extra paint section in the aircraft.cfg file so you may have to change the paint section of the updated aircraft.cfg file to match the paint section(s) of your aircraft.cfg.

This aircraft accellerates slowly so it needs a long stretch of water, or runway, to take off. But it lands as slow as a smaller aircraft, and can be stopped on a runway that is much shorter than it can take off from.

If you don't like any changes I made to the panel, you can find the gauge in the panel.cfg file and put // in front of the line and it won't be there.
