I've always wanted a nice looking C182 with the 1980's paint scheme instead of the new schemes they have now. With DXTbmp, by Martin Wright, it is really easy to give your aircraft the paint job of your choice.
I used to fly an older C182P, so I used it as my model. This is the scheme of an actual Cessna 182 I used to fly at a local airport. I Hope you like it. Comments are welcome (monicatus@aol.com)

To install simply unzip this texture folder into your C182 folder and add the text below to the aircraft.cfg file.

description="When Cessna saw how well their Model 180 was selling, they looked for a way to make it an even bigger success\s the answer was the Model 182. The Cessna 182 Skylane feels and acts like a heavier, more powerful version of its sibling, the 172 Skyhawk. The airplane is a workhorse and a stable platform for flying on instruments. Even with a full tank, the 182 carries a family-size useful load and performs admirably as an aerial sport utility vehicle."

To make the atc ID number editable, you will also need to modify the aircraft.cfg file like this:

- Find the point [General]
- Find the point editable=0
- change the 0 to a 1
- Save the file.

Again, many thanks to Martin Wright for his "DXTbmp" Utility.
