F-136
=====
take off speed: 140 with 2nf
min clean speed: 180
Vopt 1nf: 180 (but can be used as brake at higher speed)
Vopt 2nf: 150

Note: All high speed, climb and altitude parameters below can change with the weather conditions. Test flown in standard atmosphere only.

Climb envelope
--------------
Switch on the afterburners (SCRAM-jet) at any time you like (shift F4). The SCRAM-jet starts working at Mach 1. They just do nothing below that speed! Prepare for a kick in the back when you reach Mach 2.
FL000-100: 250 kts, up to 9900 ft/min
FL100-600: 410 kts, up to 9900 ft/min
The next two settings highly depend on the weather conditions! Try to not let the bird below 350 kts. Otherwise it would take ages to reach maximum speed. This is due to the variable intake area of the turbines.
FL600-700: 410 kts, up to 5000 ft/min
FL700-900: 410 kts, up to 2500 ft/min

cruise
------
Apply full power until you reach 410 kts, then set speed hold on the AP.
cruise: 410 kts at FL900 = M4.23 (in standard atmosphere)
Vmax: (ovspd warning) 423 kts at FL900 = M4.35
Physically possible Vmax: 444 kts at FL900 = M4.56

Remark:
- Higher altitudes possible but not necessary
- Depending on weather conditions the aircraft might get a little unstable when flying curves at FL900. If you encounter this problem, I suggest you go down to FL700 and set speed to 650 kts (after reaching that altitude or you'll go overspeed). Or you can lock the actual Mach number before descending to FL700.

Descent
-------
Switch off the afterburners and speed hold on the AP. Set idle thrust and wait for the speed to go below 400 kts. The aircraft will not slow down efficiently when descending with a higher rate! When you descent within these given parameters the bird will descent at about 400 kts. IAS increases below 28000 ft but the Mach number is around 0.92.
FL900-700, -3500 ft/min
FL700-100, -5000 ft/min

Approach
--------
Set the AP to 250 kts and engage speed hold. Slow down with setting 1 notches wings (I mean F7). Beware, the bird will loose about 500 ft with it (depending on the speed you brake down).
Set 2 notches wings when going below 150 kts.

Landing
-------
100 kts with 2 notches wings
Push nose down gently imediately after touch down because the bird tends to pitch up and take off again.
