FS2004 Consolidated Commodore

This large flying boat was based on the PY-1 and was offered for commercial service. Pan American Airways System bought 14 and the first entered service in 1932. It was used mostly on runs between the US and the Caribbean and South America. It was considered the height of luxury for its day and tootled along at an amazing 108 mph. It was replaced by more modern flying boats in a few years, but one remained in service as a trainer until 1946. This is a FSDSv3 project and has only been tested in FS2004. It has the usual animations, lights, etc. I could not find any documentation for the cockpit so the 2D panel and VC are based on the P2Y for which I had photo's. This is a big, heavy sea plane so be patient with the take-off run. It will rotate and take off between 80 and 90 knots.

INSTALLATION: Unzip Commo.zip into a temporary folder. Copy the folder Consolidated Commodore into the Aircraft folder of FS2004. Copy the contents of the gauges folder into the Gauges folder of FS2004. All the other gauges are default. Please note the DC-3, Vega and Comet gauges won't show unless you have copied the DC-3, Vega and Comet ,Cab gauges into the Gauges folder of FS2004. Copy the contents of the effects folder into the FS2004 Effects folder. This is a sea plane wake I find much more dynamic than the default wake.
