Cessna 208 Repaint - Muddy
Release date 14 March 2005

This is a fictitious repaint of Henry Tomkiewicz / Tony Fosler Cessna 208B Caravan. This aircraft is a performer and has little time to dilly dolly around at the wash rack. Consequentially, it's dirty. Fly it often and maintain it well. paintkit_cessna_c208b.zip required. This repaint works with both podded and unpodded versions.

After constantly not being satisfied by my repaint work, I decided to embrace my shortcomings as a repainter. After all, many real aircraft do look like crap. Take a good look at any airliner or military airplane in the real world and you'll see repainted areas, patches, missing paint, dirt, grime, etc. Strangely enough, there aren't many aircraft in flightsim that share these traits with their real-world counterparts. Here is my attempt to fill the void.

INSTALLATION
I have only enclosed the files that I have changed. You will need to copy the basic textures for the Cessna 208 into the Texture.Muddy folder. (Or whatever you decide to call it.) Be sure to answer "NO" if prompted to Overwrite the existing files. Do not forget to add the proper entries into the aircraft.cfg file.

CREDITS
Many thanks go out to Henry Tomkiewicz and Tony Fosler for the awesome airplane and master blanks. Also a nod goes to Garry J. Smith at gjsmith.net for his tutorial on repainting.

----------------------------------------------------------
REQUESTS
I do not take requests at this time mainly because I'm still pretty early in the learning process and don't want to commit to anything that is beyond my capibilities.
