Thanks for downloading my updated version of the FSX
Northrop A-17 attack bomber. Original model created by
the late Paul Clawson.

The cockpit is re-textured with new gauges and instruments
for a more realistic appearance. Mostly laid out according
to some photographs. I took a few liberties, such as the
electrical switches on the lower left, in front of the throttle.
And the light switches, magnetos, and fuel gauge on the
center console.
One thing to note, even though it's a fixed-gear
aircraft, there is gear retraction and extension in the model's
programming. And it does affect airspeed due to drag. And you
can belly land, even though the gear is visually fixed down. It's
just something Paul did. So, I've worked with that by adding a
gear/flap gauge on the center console under the fuel gauge.

The exteriors have also been re-done. With more realistic textures
and coloring. With historically accurate markings and insignias. The
pre-war Air Corps blue and yellow livery. And the pre-war bare metal
livery based on the A-17 on display at the Air Force Museum in
Dayton, Ohio. I've included a third, wartime olive drab livery.
I'ts a generic paint job with some made-up tail numbers. But it
came out pretty good.

Installation:
This is the whole aircraft, and doesn't require any previous downloads.
Just unzip and move the Northrop A-17 folder to your FSX/simobjects/
airplanes folder. And enjoy.
